Conditions of Entry

ENTRIES:
All entries must be registered and paid for before fishing is started. This can be completed via the website or by ticket sales from one of the listed outlets.
 
AREA:
There are boundries listed for fishing areas. All marine reserves and local area restrictions (as charted) MUST be observed.
 
CONTESTANT WILL BE LIMITED TO ONE PRIZE PER WEIGHED DIVISION. The angler's heaviest fish weight will be credited to each division.
 
INFRACTIONS:
Any person found in breach of the contest rules will be disqualified and any prize won forfeited. Further, they may be prohibited from entering any future tournaments conducted by this Organization. Any disputes arising during the tournament shall be reported to the tournament organizing committee. They will investigate and make their decision known to all interested parties. The decision of the organizing committee shall be final and binding on all contestants.
 
INDEMNITY CLAUSE:
No liability will be accepted by the Contest Organizers for damage to any boat, vehicle, property or personal injury, of any nature. The signed completed entry ticket constitutes that the skipper had read, understands and accepts the terms of this indemnity clause and as such acknowledges sole responsibility for the safety of the crew.

Fishing Rules

All fish must be caught on rod and reel.
Maximum line weight is 37kg.
If you are fishing for a club for a recognized catch, your club rules must be adhered to.
Maximum length trace is 30 ft (9.14 metres), this can be any line weight.
If a double line is used to join the trace and main line, then the maximum length of trace and double is 40 ft (12.19 metres)
All fish weighed MUST have the official Contest Weight Form completed and signed by the weigh master.
Any Marlin landed must have digital photo proof with the date displayed and recognisable landmarks visible.
